Blackout Soap Co. started in a tiny apartment kitchen with one stockpot, a thermometer, and a stubborn belief that soap shouldn't be a chemistry experiment. What began as a hobby — making bars we'd actually want to use — turned into a storefront on N Queen Street in the heart of Lancaster.
We make everything ourselves, in small batches, the old-fashioned cold-process way. Every bar is hand-cut and cured for four to six weeks before it ever reaches you. We use real plant oils, butters, and essential oils — never synthetic detergents or fragrance oils that irritate your skin and the planet.
When you buy from us, you're not buying from a factory. You're buying from a small team that knows every batch by name. Stop by the shop and we'll probably remember your favorite scent.
